As a mother, minister, and educator, I have learned how to balance family, ministry, and purpose while remaining fully committed to each. For eighteen years, I taught at a local community college, where I covered courses such as business technology, technical writing and ethics. I hold a Master’s degree in Adult Education and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
After 21 years of marriage, I went through a divorce that marked one of the most challenging seasons of my life, but God carried me through it. It was a season that stretched my faith, tested my strength, and required me to lean on God like never before. Even now, God is sustaining me, strengthening me, and continually reminding me that my story Is not over.
Today, I am pouring into high school students, teaching journalism, yearbook, broadcasting, magazine, and photojournalism. This season of my life allows me to not only educate, but to mentor, guide, and inspire the next generation to find their voice and walk in confidence.
My passion for writing began at an early age. It became my outlet, a safe place to express emotions and experiences I struggled to understand as a child. Now, I recognize that writing is not just a gift, but a calling from God. Through my words, I strive to inspire, uplift, and educate others by sharing my journey of overcoming obstacles and challenges. My goal is to offer hope and encouragement to those walking their own path.
My Passion
My passion is to remind others to never give up. We can never fully know what God has in store for us if we choose to quit or surrender along the way. There is purpose in the process, and strength is built in the journey.
Join My Journey
As I continue walking in purpose, I am committed to sharing uplifting words that strengthen, empower, and inspire growth. If you are in need of encouragement or prayer, please feel free to reach out. I am here for you.
Always remember that God is working behind the scenes, even when you can’t see it. Every experience has purpose, and it’s all working together for your good. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
